BETHEL MELBOURNE
We are a community of burning ones, burning for revival and burning to minister to Him. We long to host the presence and glory of God, creating a resting place where He is welcomed, exalted, and delighted in.
Rooted deeply in the Word of God and living in the fear of the Lord, we desire authentic devotion over performance and intimacy over religion.
We are all in — a remnant of extravagant worshippers, wholehearted, surrendered disciples willing to pour out our love at His feet.
We are living to become more like Christ. His life is our model. We are a people of His presence who carry the reality of Jesus into our homes, workplaces, streets, and cities.
We believe Jesus still heals, delivers, saves, and speaks, and that through the power of the Holy Spirit, signs, wonders, and miracles are still released today.
We long to see the full expression of the Holy Spirit, with rivers of living water flowing in and through us as an abundant and unstoppable force, empowering and transforming us from the inside out.
We believe the reality of Heaven is greater than anything this world could offer. Our prayer is that the Kingdom of Heaven would touch the city of Melbourne here and now—on earth as it is in Heaven.
We believe that the lost, the broken and the orphan will find salvation, restoration and identity in the person of Jesus Christ, the power of the Gospel and the perfect love of the Father.
As we make the message of Christ and His presence our absolute priority, we believe revival will flow through His people, cities will be transformed, and the Kingdom of God will expand through ordinary people fully surrendered to an extraordinary King.

Bethel Church carries an apostolic mandate to make disciples of nations. Over the last decade we have felt an increased urgency to identify cities that have global influence and strategically plant churches there to impact the world with the Kingdom.
Last year our leadership team felt that Melbourne, Australia, is a special place in the Spirit; ripe for revival and poised for significance in the world.
After much prayer, we decided to send Ben and Jo Wilson on a Holy Spirit mission to plant a church in the heart of this beautiful and influential city. Ben and Jo have felt called to Melbourne for years, and have many prophetic words confirming their mandate to this powerful mission. We are excited to see what Jesus will do through their ministry as they join the wider Body of Churches who are already having a significant impact on Australia and the world.
To this end, we are commissioning Ben and Jo Wilson to establish a Bethel Church in Melbourne, Australia. We trust them as they have demonstrated great character, noble attributes, and tremendous love for God and people. The Bethel Senior Team is excited to watch the Lord’s plan unfold as Bethel Melbourne grows to full maturity.
